Terms and Conditions
By registering for this event (“Event”), produced and sponsored by Abre.io, a Delaware corporation, (the “Company” or “Abre.io”) at an event space (the “Premises”), you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, all the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement including the terms of use and privacy policy linked below (this “Release”).
If you are registering on behalf of another individual, your registration confirms that the attendee attending is aware of and accepts the terms and conditions of this Release.
General Terms
- Abre.io reserves the right to restrict access by any attendee, and issue refunds at its sole and absolute discretion.
- The views and opinions shared at the event are not necessarily those of Abre.io. While we carefully curate each panel of presenters, we do not have editorial control over their content.
Event Code of Conduct
At Abre Connect, we are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all attendees, speakers, and participants. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone. By attending, you agree to:
- Be Respectful: Treat all attendees, speakers, and staff with kindness and courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- Participate Thoughtfully: Engage in discussions constructively and ensure your contributions are relevant and respectful of others’ perspectives.
- Follow Event Guidelines: Adhere to all Event rules, including those regarding accessibility, privacy, and safety and comply all applicable laws while participating in the Event. Respect personal boundaries and event spaces.
- Event Venue’s Rules: All attendees shall observe the rules, policies and procedures of the Premises. You specifically agree that you are over twenty-one (21) years of age and commit to consume alcohol responsibly. You agree not to use or be under the influence of any illegal drugs while on the Premises. If you begin experiencing symptoms of any illness, including without limitation, fever, coughing, fatigue, vomiting, you will immediately discontinue further participation in the Event.
If Abre.io determines an attendee has violated this Code of Conduct, it may, at its sole discretion, remove the attendee from the event without refund. If you witness or experience any issues, please contact an Abre.io employee immediately.

Registration and Cancelation
- Registrations are non-refundable.
- Registrations are transferable. If you would like to transfer your registration, please email “[email protected]“ with the subject “Transfer Registration” at least 5 days before the event date. Transfer requests made less than 5 days before the event may not be honored.
Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
Abre’s Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information when you use the Services. It may be viewed here.
Abre’s Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the connect.abre.com website and may be viewed here.
Publicity
You hereby grant Company and its respective affiliates, directors, officers, managers, stockholders, employees, agents, and insurers, and all others involved in the Event (collectively referred to in this Release as “Sponsor”), without limitation, the right to take photographs or videos of you during the Event and use my name and likeness in connection with the Event or any other purpose, including publicity, marketing, and advertising without further compensation or permission.
You hereby grant Sponsor, its agents, assignees, and transferees the worldwide right to use, copy, distribute, exhibit, broadcast, transmit, perform, publish, and display such photos/videos of you, with or without your name, in any media, including in print and electronically.
Future Product Disclaimer
The information provided regarding future products, features, or enhancements is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment, promise, or legal obligation to deliver any specific functionality. Abre.io reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel future developments at its sole discretion. Any statements about future plans are subject to change without notice, and users should not rely on these statements for purchasing or planning decisions. Actual product features and availability may vary based on business priorities, market needs, and other factors.
Sweepstakes and Giveaways
To the extent that the Company sponsors or administers any sweepstakes or giveaways during the Event or on the Premises, such events shall be subject to additional terms and conditions provided during at the time you specifically register for such event.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
You hereby irrevocably and unconditionally agree for yourself, your personal representatives, spouse, successors and assigns, heirs, and next of kin, as follows:
ASSUMPTION OF RISK. Your choice to attend and participate in the Event is knowing, voluntary, and made for my personal enjoyment. You understand that participation in the Event may involve inherent risks and dangers of arising out of or attributable to my being on the Premises or participating in the Event. These may result not only from my own actions, inactions, or negligence, but also from the actions, inactions, or negligence of others, or the condition of the facilities, equipment, the Premises. Further, there may be other risks not known to me or reasonably foreseeable at this time. You understand and you have considered the risks involved, and you voluntarily and freely choose to assume these risks.
RELEASE FROM LIABILITY. You fully and forever release and discharge Company and its respective affiliates, directors, officers, managers, stockholders, employees, agents, and insurers, and all others involved in the Event (collectively referred to in this Release as “Sponsor”) from any and all injuries (including death), illness, losses, damages, claims (including negligence claims), demands, lawsuits, expenses, and any other liability of any kind, of or to me, my property, or any other person, directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with arising out of or attributable to my being on the Premises or participating in the Event, even if they are due to the ordinary negligence, injudicious act, omission, or other fault of Sponsor. This waiver and release does not extend to claims for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any other actions that applicable law does not permit to be released by agreement.
INDEMNITY. You shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsor against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including attorneys’ fees, fees, the costs of enforcing any right to indemnification under this Release, and the cost of pursuing any insurance providers, incurred by the Sponsor arising out of or resulting from any claim of a third party related to my being on the Premises or participating in the Event, including any claim related to my own negligence or the ordinary negligence of the Company.
COVENANT NOT TO SUE. You will not initiate any claim, lawsuit, court action, or other legal proceeding or demand against Sponsor, nor join or assist in the prosecution of any claim for money or other damages which anyone may have, on account of injuries (including death), losses, or damages sustained by me, other parties, or my (or others’) property in connection with my participation in the Event, and you waive any right you may have to do so. This means that you cannot sue to hold Sponsor responsible for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by me, other parties, or my (or others’) property in connection with the Event, even if it is due to the ordinary negligence, injudicious act, omission, or other fault of Sponsor.
Arbitration
This Release is governed by and will be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Release, including any disputes relating to the Event, whether sounding in contract, tort or otherwise, shall be finally resolved by arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted by one arbitrator in English and in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, which shall administer the arbitration and act as appointing authority. The place of the arbitration shall be Cincinnati, Ohio. The decision of the arbitrator shall be binding upon the parties hereto, and the expense of the arbitration (including without limitation the award of attorneys’ fees to the prevailing party) shall be paid as the arbitrator determines. The decision of the arbitrator may be entered by any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Ohio for the purposes of any judicial proceedings to obtain interim relief and in aid of the arbitration or judicial proceedings to confirm or enforce the award. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company may seek preliminary injunctive relief from a court of law in the event of a breach by you.
